• Go to our contact page and fill out the form.

We’ll contact you within 24 hours by email to set up a free Meet & Greet.

At the Meet and Greet we’ll obtain info about your pets, your pet care needs, info on getting into your home, your preferred payment method and have you fill out and sign any paperwork.

We do an assessment to make sure that your dog will not react aggressively to us. We reserve the right to not take on jobs if we do see aggression.

We’ll then send a link to set up an account on our Time to Pet portal.

You will then submit a service request through Time to Pet. If you need daily dog walking we recommend that you sign up for 6 week blocks of time and submit new requests two weeks in advance. If you know you will need to service for larger blocks of time you are also welcome to submit for 2, 3 or more months at a time.

  • You can pay by cash, check, venmo

or Zelle. If you pay by cash or check we need to make arrangements to collect the 50% deposit for vacation pet sitting 2 weeks before your vacation.

We collect a 50% deposit for overnight and out of town visits, two weeks in advance. The other 50% is due the first day of service.

For ongoing pet care such as dog walking, puppy/kitten daily care we bill on Mondays for the entire week. Invoices must be paid that day by leaving a check or through Venmo or Zelle.

  • Tips are always appreciated and can be left in cash at your home in an envelope addressed to us or when you make your payment online.

    48 Hours Notice

    Vacation Pet Care:

    1 week notice

  • Yes, we send updates daily through your Time to Pet portal.

  • We need two forms of entry, a main and a back up. These can include a lock box with key, garage code, door code or a key we keep in our office safe. Just leaving the door unlocked or a key under a mat is not an option to avoid potential break ins.

  • Let us know as far in advance as possible, especially for vacation pet sitting or pet sitting needed over holidays. We try to accommodate last minute requests but cannot guarantee that we’ll have openings.

  • If your dog has shown any aggression towards humans, we cannot take the job. Nancy has been bit by a dog that had a history of sporadic aggression towards humans.

FAQ

  • Cats, Dogs, Birds, Turtles, Rabbits, Fish, Hamsters, Gerbils, Guinea Pigs, Mice

  • Unfortunately because of the risk of something going wrong and the liability, we do not.

  • In case of weather or natural disaster we do our best to accommodate planned visits. If we have advance notice of weather we will leave out extra food. We are also skilled at snow driving, as Colorado natives, and can handle driving in all weather conditions. We also get two back up contacts such as neighbors or nearby relatives from you at the Meet & Greet in the event that we cannot physically get to your home.

In the event that one of us is too sick to work, the other will fill in. In the event that we are both too sick to work (this has never happened in 19 years, even through the pandemic!) we have back up pet sitters we work with who may be able to fill in.

  • If your pet has an emergency we will take them to the veterinarian on file or the closest pet ER. During the Meet & Greet we go over who your preferred vet and ER vet clinic are.

We have you sign a veterinary release form which allows us to get your pet treatment, as well as an agreed amount you’re willing to spend.

  • For liability reasons we do not walk dogs off leash or do dog park visits.

  • Oregon law requires all dogs to be vaccinated against rabies. Multnomah County requires cats be vaccinated against rabies as well.

  • We do not. To avoid any possible emergency situations we prefer to provide care daily.
